In 2025, I’m structuring my Feldenkrais Series classes into a curriculum: Movement Academy, your school for learning to move with ease and efficiency. Each quarter, we’ll explore new themes in both in-person and online group settings—such as walking with ease, building strength for daily life, and essential lessons to support your mobility and posture. Each quarter provides a new pathway to mastering movement in a supportive community.

Program Structure
Movement Academy is a quarterly program designed to help you master movement, one theme at a time. Each quarter—Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall—focuses on a unique aspect of movement, providing an immersive experience that builds skill and awareness.

Learning
Movement Academy dives into anatomy in a way that helps participants connect with their own bodies. Many of us move through life without fully understanding how our anatomy supports or limits us. In this program, we’ll introduce practical anatomical and physiological insights that directly apply to movement, giving you a better grasp of what’s happening in your body. With this knowledge, you’ll learn not only how to move more effectively but also why certain movements feel the way they do.
Feeling
In each session, we’ll engage in mobility lessons designed to help you feel specific movement sequences, giving you a more intuitive sense of alignment, balance, and ease. By practicing these sequences, you’ll start recognizing these patterns in everyday movements, which can help you move more comfortably and confidently. These exercises make the connection between intentional movement in class and your natural movements outside, creating lasting awareness.
Consistency and Community
Consistent mobility work is essential for keeping aches and pains at bay, and it’s even better when done with a supportive community. In Movement Academy, you’ll be alongside others who share your goal of moving better and feeling better. This shared experience brings encouragement, accountability, and a sense of camaraderie, making it easier to stick with your practice and enjoy the journey together.
Movement Academy Plus
Gain additional support to balance strength training, cardio fitness, and mobility training. As a member of Movement Academy Plus, you’ll join a monthly online meeting where we’ll come together to discuss effective ways to structure your fitness routine. I’ll provide individualized guidance to ensure your training aligns with your goals, and I’ll be available throughout the month for additional support. Think of it as having a coach to help you create a well-rounded fitness plan tailored to your needs.
